Sara Hopkins is a documentary and fine art photographer in Atlanta, Ga. She is currently studying within the MFA (photography) program at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her interests include how identities and environments develop and change; how gender, sexual preference, and societal roles are related; and how people develop gender and class roles based on religious or spiritual beliefs. In collaboration with a young woman who has borderline personality disorder, we create portraits together to convey an emotion and tension that is similar to how she feels on a daily basis. This is my current work and it is not resolved.
